Hi All, After some info on fuel avavilable in Carnarvon if anyone has been there lately. Will be there in the next fortnight and unable to find the Shell/Coles Express fuel station cnr of Hwy and Robinson St.

Is this station still open or is there another Shell/ Coles fuel nearby or other suggestions.

Thanks, Richie.

Fair question, considering the mess up there after the floods.

Was there two weeks ago.

Coles and and another servo on the highway (BP I think) on the right heading towards Karratha is closed. They have been flooded.
Caltex at the intersection as you come into Carnarvon is open, so too is an independent on the right hand side closer to the town centre.
Thats all I know of.
Enjoy your trip.

Yeah the Shell Roadhouse and BP are cactus. I doubt they will reopen before Spring.

Interestingly, the Caltex 24hr was back up and trading only a few days after Christmas - but fuel only and it was cash only sales. All fuel products are available there.

hi richard cee
a fair question indeed
it will take many months to straighten out the mess and destruction from the floods
if you go on the fuel watch website for wa you will find out who has fuel in carnarvon and where
www.fuelwatch.wa.gov.au

you can register and have emails sent to you updated daily after 3pm for any place/town you intend visiting provided they are on the fuelwatch site
hope this is of help
cheers

We passed through there on our way south a couple of weeks ago. The caltex is working and if you head towards the main town there is a small independant on the left just near the IGA that is quite a bit cheaper than caltex.
There is another one closer to town at which you get a discount if you bought groceries and the local IGA.
Hope this helps.
