Hi Everyone,
Just wondering if anyone has fitted a Polaris in dash GPS / Reverse camera in to a 120 Prado.
Is there anything it should do that it doesn't?
If you had your time again would you buy another one?
any other info would be helpful.
Thanks in advance for your help.
Regards Shaun

I have a Polaris in my 200 and it has done a good job over the last 2+ years. However, I would buy one from Brash Imports as they are about 1/2 the price and just as good, if not better. Also, the IGO8 GPS program is HEAPS better than the SYGIC that comes with the Polaris.
Brash Imports

Thanks for that link Captain....very useful.
I called in to an
Adelaide retailer 2 weeks ago to enquire about an in-dash VMS unit and nearly fell over when the bloke said it was over $2,500- just for supply and about $400- to fit!!!
The Toyota-specific unit that Brash sell would come in under $1000- with Ozi-Ex loaded and I have a mate here who might do the install for me for a couple of slabs.
This might be the way to go.
Cheers
Roachie
