Terrific Customer Service from Castrol

A short time ago I posted a query here asking for advice regarding the use of Castrol VMX-M in my 80 Series Land Cruiser. At about the same time I had sent off a query to Castrol along similar lines, but asking for a slightly more technical answer.

I have just come off the phone after speaking to a Castrol Technical guy, who felt that he could explain it to me easier than writing an email.

He went through a range of options for me and made recommendations. He felt VMX-M was a good choice for me.

The fact that he thought about it, and then took the time to get on the phone and spend a bit of time explaining it all impressed me enormously.Well done Castrol, and thanks. You've got me as a customer.

Yep - I've had the same - sent them an email query and a woman rang me back with tech advice - and she 'knew her onions' re my engine at the time too. While it is hard to tell the long term benefits of one quality lubricant from another, as a result of that sort of customer support, I use Castrol throughout my vehicle too - gotta put your faith somewhere - might as well be with someone who likes you :-o).
