Hi all
Will be returning to
Brisbane from
Darwin late June with limited time and I am unsure which route to take from
Mount Isa to
Winton. Should I go via
Duchess ,
Boulia or via
Cloncurry,
Kynuna. I understand that the
Boulia route is far more interesting although a little longer. Any opinions would be welcome.
Cheers

If you are short on time, go via
Kynuna.

ita nce scenic drive via
Boulia, but you need to take more care, and will take you a little longer.
eg, not alot of room, and you need to pull right over when you meet a road train coming the other way, where the Curry to
Winton road is good two lanes all the way. Still a nice drive that way. at least i like it anyway..
