Hello everyone,
Due to the responses that I have received on the
forum I have decided not to go ahead with the purchase of the vehicle, so thanks to everyone that responded and helped me make the decision.
Back to the drawing board with the other options, being:
- Toyota Coaster.
- Used horse float with amenities at the front, although this will be the last resort as I really don't want to tow anything, believing that there is limited
parking at National parks etc, and would appreciate any info if I am wrong on that account.
Cheers and thanks again,
Mike

Hi Mike,
I think that most
places you go some will be tight on
parking space and others won't. I would recommend you not use that criteria to make a decision on whether you should have a motor
home or tow a caravan.
My brother has a motor
home and I have a caravan and each have their strengths and weaknesses.
Several replies on your previous post, I think, suggested that they have gone back to a caravan for various reasons and others said they had gone to a motor
home for various reasons. From what I saw the replies were on the money so I would base my decision on something along those lines.
My van is about 19.5 outside and a couple of van park spaces were a bit small for my liking, A frame projecting onto roadway, and would certainly have been a bit small for all but the smaller motor homes. Most 6 cyl cars are about 18 feet in length so that is not much space.
Hopefully some others will come along and give you their thoughts also from both sides of the fence so to speak.
Cheers, Bruce.

There is also a spell checker at the bottom of the box for use before you post.

have a look at what's happened over in Japan, i think there are alot bigger things in the world to worry about, then someone typing in capital letters and a few incorrectly spelt words.
IMHO i find what you wrote, alot ruder then the previous posters use of capital letters.

Perhaps a read of thread 84238 starting at reply 29 may show the feelings of quite a few members..
As one who has two of the family with damaged houses in Christchurch I don't need to be reminded about earthquakes and fully appreciate what has happened overseas.
Thank you.

Originally I was just trying to politely point this out as your post was hard to read.
The Core Rules of Netiquette
1. Spell
check & proof read messages.
2. Do not write in all capital letters. Do not use all caps.
However you seem to have taken it in a different manner. Sorry to upset
SNOOPYONE
Nothing more to say.

Strange the spell checker didn't pick it up so will blame that as I wondered myself.
According to my Collins Dictionary it can be either.
