Thanks mate.
I will take the Canon 5D and D10 and a range of lenses and other bits & pieces.
Storage is a few CF/SD cards and a 120gb flash drive in the laptop.
Will be a bit strapped for space this trip as the car is configured for 4 passengers rather than the usual 1.

You are going through some fantastic country Richard,aspeacially sth auss i hope you are calling into Delhousie Springs which is just down from Mt Dare and Coward Springs on the Oodnadatta Tck they are both top spots.cheer's GREENDOG

hello there richard.
im in the proses of planing the same trip leaving from Wollongong some time in may, the weather and current road conditions have me a bit worried at the moment ,but i will wait a bit longer to find out about the conditions as i have four months to do it . cheers for now bill.
