What type of bike? I have seen trail bikes with a small saddle bag type of arraingment. Like a bladder.
A gear sack rack will hold a 5litre.
I use a trailer at times with an extra 10llitres on it.

We use Motul 2lt oil containers (Plastic)

But your reply reminds me of our first ever trip into Wonnagatta down the original Zeka track when we carried 10lt fuel containers in our back packs but
better than that were guys we helped out crossing the Simpson 2 yrs ago carrying 20lt plastic jerries of petrol on their trail bike carriers.

You could use an old S/S thernos or S/S drink bottle just don't drink from the cup ever again.

Cheers.

Thanks for the replies, with extra 2 litres gives me about 400kys, most of the bikes I ride with have a range of about 400 kys. A group of us are going on a 4 day ride camping out for 3 nights, last trip I ran out of fuel trying to stretch it to next servo about 10kys short. I have 5 - 10- 20 litre containers, carrying space very limited after tent ,self inflating matress, food, water, tools, clothes.I also camp with a Prado, roof top tent, kitchen in rear, roll out awning, water tank across rear floor, toilet. Love the bike , camping is a challenge when touring on the bike ,enjoy the freedom, no missus a bonus, she does not read Exploroz so I can say this.Friar.
