Hi All,
My Waeco got wet and I had to get the control board replaced.
Problem is now, I get a low voltage alarm when the batteries voltage starts to drop, much earlier than before the board was replaced. I know this because I have 2 and they both used to work ok all through the night, now the one I had the board replaced in alarms and stops working some time during the early morning. When the sun comes up and hits the solar pannels the alarm clears and all is
well.
Does anyone know if the setting for the low voltage is adjustable?
Rgds
Ian

Hi Dbish,
Not sure, I will
check tonight, It's around 6 years old, 50lt was one of the first ones to come out with an inbuilt 240v to 12/24v converter, it has a line of LED lights to indicate the temp setting,
I will
check the model and take some pics

Ahhh I have just read the manual online, I see what you mean, fingers crossed its as simple as that, I have never looked at the side of it as its always worked
well until it got wet.

Hi Ian, I once opened an instruction book for a piece of new equipment and the first page had in BIG letters......... SO, YOU FINALLY GOT ROUND TO READING THE INSTRUCTIONS! LOL
More to the point, my old CF35 Waeco hangs on the Troopy back door and sometimes can get a little rain on it so I have covered the controls with a hinged plastic flap to protect them. Works a charm, but maybe yours got a little wetter?

Guilty as charged;-)
The repairer said it was a common occurence and sugested a film of silastic around the edge of the panel. Had it out the back as a beer fridge, unfortunatly the roof leaked right where the fridge was. Stays in doors (inside the bus) now.

Hi Dbish and Allan,
Thanks for putting me on the right track, Yes it was set to hi, It is now on Low but I may try the middle setting. Guess they did some testing when they replaced the board and left it in the Hi position for safety.
Amazing I have never touched this switch in all the years I've owned it
