Hi there
I recently purchased a 2004 prado gxl and am wondering how much fuel is left when the fuel warning light comes on. Also was wondering how difficult it is to replace the factory stereo with a Toyota gps unit and is it worth to do so or just install an after market unit mounted on the dash.
Any helP is greatly appreciated

Like all fibreglass boats, if you use a silver tarp or similar there must be an air gap between the tarp and the van or boat. Blisters etc occur.
The material lightweight covers keep the dust off but not the water. They are a pain to put on and it would make sense to have a lift in the roof centre to help it drain.
I only use
mine when I am storing the van even under a carport. Wouldn't think of putting it on when travelling - (perhaps that obvious??). Sorry.
The stereo unit is on this link.

This link takes you to Pradopoint and gives you background on the unit and what others have found.
Multi media unit for Prado
DigOptions is the guy in
Melbourne who can supply. You can get it through Ebay as he advertises there. About $600 and normally $200 to install complete with reversing camera.
I have
mine on a 2003 120 and it is the bees knees.
Cheers
Bill
