Good evening All,
I remember seeing a product that can be used for tying fridges and many other items securely. It is elastic and from memory locks within itself. I saw it in one of those 4x4 magazines but for the life of me I can't remember who made the product!
I could really use it ( I can picture it ) for holding the 40L fridge against the left side of of my ute.
Does anyone have an idea of what product I'm thinking of???
I'm sure the Missus chucked out that magazine issue
cheers
Matthew

Hi Matthew
I use Andy Strapz. Elastic and velcro together. Quick, easy, safe, strong, reliable.
I use them to secure Oztent and/or Portabote to roof bars or roof rack of 4X4.
Most of his stuff is made with motor bikes in mind but that doesn't matter.
Highly recommended.

Thanks but not the product I'm looking for.
I should have mentioned that it 'looks' like a chain and it stretches. I think it was yellow or lime green in colour.
Again thanks Gents for your efforts

I have them, they are lime green and quite stretchy. They have a arrow head shape on each end and elongated holes the entire lenghth so that you can push the end through at any position.
Unfortunately I can't remember where I bought them and have just had a look and they have no name anywhere on them.
Sorry I can't be more help, but they are quite a good idea.

Yes Rob, They are called Kadmac Adjustable Link Straps and I have seen them at several camping stores including SuperCheap and BCF.
Look here at top of page 5.
