I didn't see your second post (moderated), so have no idea the type of work or duration of stay in any place you are considering, but the following will give you ideas across the board. There is usually plenty of work available during peak tourist season in tourism areas in hospitality and cleaning. For suitably qualified people, the WA mining areas are seeking personnel.

If you were a member I could MM you and get some info about what you do. I spent 3 yrs on the road working for the same company the whole time. We now have another couple travelling OZ doing the same thing. I can't go into detail here as it is self promotion as you found out. The benefits of being a member I guess, especially now at only $50. It paid for our entire trip and we only worked when we needed to.

Hi there Josh, do you mind letting me know too please?

We are currently 6 months into our trip, I must say I haven't really tried getting work, but it sure doesn't hurt to ask. I've just a few days work ahead of me now at the van park we are staying in simply by asking!

Fruit picking is always there too, but up here in North QLD you have to be quick to apply, as they get snapped up very quickly!

Cheers
Troy
