We are heading off later in the year and will be driving along the Gibb (as
well as several side trips). We have a Jaco Swan outback which currently has a Ball hitch - I have been investigating different options - and am leaning towards the Hyland. Has anyone put one of these on a Jayco and what will will need to do to the Jayco/Car (2006 Prado) in order to fit it? Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Hi mumma kate
You needn't worry if you are concerned about travelling the
Gibb River Road with a ball hitch; there is nothing out of the ordinary. If you wanted to take the camper all the way to the
Mitchell Falls car park and
campground, there are a couple of steep dips there, however it is much easier to leave the camper at the lovely
King Edward River Crossing camp by the river and do a day trip to the falls. The KE River
campground was one of my favourites.
