will have another try has anyone put uho88 in the dash of hilux 99 model
I like the idear of the front speaker

Nope, but I put a UH088 into the Prado dash. The uniden is slightly undersize - about a centimetre narrower than the standard Toyota (DIN size) radios. Looked and worked great.

Yes no problem other than standing on your head which is normal for in dash radios. It fits under the radio.
