Truck radio frequency Tasmania

Can anyone tell me if the truck radio frequency in Tasmania is still 40 or is there something specilal like as on the Pacific Highway where the frequency of 29.

not suprisingly Tassie has the same UHF allocations as the rest of Australia.

First I have heard of the drivers going to 29. There is no legally allocated channels to anyone anyway except for emergency and data.

The channel used by truck drivers on the pacific hwy and more often then not on the F3 freeway is ch29 for everywhere else it is still ch40.
the radio will be very quiet on the pacific hwy if your on ch40.. lol
many times ive come off the new england and onto the pacific and tried to call another truckie up and got no response, only to realalise im still on 40
