Hi
We have met lots of solo females out there with all sorts of rigs.
One was a lady over seventy years of age who had been on the road with her motor
home for four years.
Another was an elderly lady who had broken her leg while travelling. She was travelling in company with another friend with a motor
home during the difficult stage while herleg was in plaster, and when i met her, with her leg on the mend, she was taking a 'gopher' type of mobile to the amenities block, but could now walk in (just as
well as this one had steps). She could still hitch and unhitch her caravan by herself.
Another lady we know purchased a motor
home when her marriage broke up. Being a bit of a ditzy blonde, not
young and with no camping experience, we wondered how she would go. She was doing a similar lap to us last year, a little way behind, but took longer as she had relatives to visit in different states, including spending Christmas with relatives. "I did it" she announced proudly as she called in and saw us on her almost
home stretch.
Many single ladies take a small dog as a companion. This of course limits where you can travel.
Get something you are comfortable with handling and maintaining. For this reason some solo ladies choose an all in one motor
home rather than a caravan that can be awkward for one to hitch and unhitch. Learn how what ever you choose as vehicle and camper all works , because if you stop in the bush at night and find your power has failed there is only you to find out what is wrong.
Have ball.
