Fishing chaters around Bunbury

Good evening all

While I'm in Bunbury I thought I would do a bit fishing.

Mandurah fishing charters looks ok on the net,,, has anyone used them, or can anyone recommend any of the charter boats for a day trip?

If you actually want to take fish home. I've found north of Geraldton or out Esperance way better. In the Perth to Bunbury area you'll travel over 30miles and someone will catch a fish. , many will catch none.

as a avid fisherman that lives in bunbury this is a very big bay with a few good fishing spots but as the last post there can times when fish are few and far between if you have a good boat 25 km at around 272 degrees should find some ground patchy but good size pinkys and jew to be had for squid and whitting busselton boat ramp couple km sand and weed allways get something not big but at this time there are good catches of squid mate of mine got 12 30cm + squid the other day and a workmate also got some of the jetty at night with a couple of froffys.. hope this helps there is better ground for deep sea down south around the cape but watch the swell if you havent been down there on increasing swell days some places can close out on you while you having a fat time fishing but then cant get back in.
enjoy and i hope you catch some..
