I have a 2005 RA rodeo 4x4 V6 with the 3.5l motor, I was wondering if there is anything in particular I need to pay attention to in respect to the servicing - i.e timing belts etc and when things like this need to be replaced.

Thanks

It is the same motor as in the 98 on Jacks. It is a superb donk if serviced every 10000ks or every 6 months. Timing belt is due at 160000ks OR 5 years, so yours is due. My Jack only cost $400, so shop arround. The oxygen sensor is also due at 160000ks, but thats not a biggie $80 at repco.
If you do not service these motors you will not get much more then 200000ks, but if well serviced they seem to do in excess of 400000ks. We have two Jacks by the way.
Cheers Pete
