Hi all,
There was a note in the newsletter about Members MyMap having all your place updates shown along with your tracking (if enabled). Well I had written it but had not finished the rollout to all member accounts. I have now built the MyMap pages for all members that have ever submitted a place update or photo. So if you have done some work in the places system you will now have a MyMap featuring your updates. You can view this in your MyProfile page.

If you have not updated places in the past you can now update places and have the place added to your MyMap page. The MyMap process looks for updated Photos and Comments and is fully integrated with the Places by Email system.

I have also released a few changes to the EOTrackMe pages and have installed the ability to download peoples live tracking and latest places.

Enjoy.

David,

I take it that this is only available to those members who have EO Track Me??
As I created a few places yesterday and don't have the My Map feature :)

Cheers Kev

Ah no it should be showing to all members that have done a photo or comments ammendment to a place. If you changed the description then this may be the cause of it not showing up. We are about to lock the description field to maintained only be the place owner (person who submiited the place) and place admins. the reason for this is that we want to take the place updates via the comments system as this is stored by date and time and hence will hold more relevance to people reading the data in the future.

Did you update the description only?

I have
Created Places,
added descriptions to some,
added feedback,
Uploaded Photos

So have covered most things :)

Cypress Pines Caravan Park was the last one I added feedback to as well as updated the description.

Cheers Kev
