Stockton Beach Feedback

I am willing to go camping at Stockton Beach but first i need to know if you are allowed to take you dog.
Has anyone taken their dog yet?
Looking forward for a reply.

Dogs are allowed on the Nothern end of stockton beach. Birubi. Not sure about further South.

I hope i can find there what i want. I Bush Camping with no one around. Just me my gf and the doggy. See some beautiful sites and relax.
Would you guys have any other suggestion close to sydney?

Yalwal down south outside of Nowra is good, but a bit more inland.

Howbout one of the state forests (these allow dogs) just over the Blue Mountains? Sunny Corner or Jenolan...only problem maybe trail bikes but they mainly seem like decent blokes. There's some near Oberon that are peaceful.

Unfortunately there isn't many coastal bush camping places North and particularly South of Sydney that allow dogs :-(

You can take your dog, but it must be on a leash at all times.

Stockton Bight
•Camping is only permitted behind the fore dunes up to 100m inland from the mean high tide mark. Camping is not permitted in the forested areas of the lands, at the Lavis Lane entrance or the lagoons.
•All camping groups must bring a self contained portable toilet - one toilet for every six people. Effluent must be disposed of appropriately outside the park.
•Please take your rubbish with you.
•Wood fires are permitted in the camping zone only. Please bring your own firewood. No wood fires, gas or fuel stoves are permitted during a total fire ban.
•Group activities of over fourty people are only permissible with prior written consent.
Getting there: You can get to Stockton Bight via Lavis Lane at Williamtown, or Gan Gan Rd at Anna Bay
