L/C 200 front suspension

Hi There,

Does anyone know how to eliminate the what appears to be the front suspension sagging.
I bought the Sahara thinking the KDSS would give a level ride but it seems thats not the case it still seems to be low at the front.

cheers
Darren

As far as I know they all sit the same

I may be wrong but isn't the KDSS only on the rear susp? (not sure I'll never buy one)

Lift kit for the front end only will level it up but may confuse the computer.

Log into LCOOL they will tell you exactly what you can and can't do from 1st hand experience.

Cheers

I don't know what makes you think the suspension is sagging.? The 200 Series features and independent front suspension system and live axle rear that has always had a profile of the front being lower than the rear. Most cars feature this sort of profile, what makes you think the front is sagging?

Maybe sagging was the wrong word but yes it looks much lower at the front compared to a illustration of a new one on Toyotas web site which sits level.

The KDSS has nothing to do with ride height.

The KDSS will give a more level ride left to right but not front to rear.

KDSS is used for controlling body roll, it basically adjusts the sway bars and in principal making them harder or softer but using hydraulics to do it.

I would suggest heavier springs in the front and rear.

Stay away from spring spacers.

Hi

KDSS info by olcoolone is correct - all post before are incorrect in their understanding/assumption of KDSS

My VX LC 200 turbo was the same and a steel bull bar will lower it another 20 mm.

I have just fitted a steel bar, winch and old man emu suspension and it now sits level.

That isn't sagging ( unless you have say an ARB delux bar, winch etc on it). It was designed with the front appearing lower than the rear.
