Hi all,
Just wondering if it would be acceptable to turn up to the gathering, or some of the gathering without putting my name down. I would love to go however it would be at the extreme tail end of my trip this year. I would rate my chances at about 50/50.
If something goes wrong, like I get to many punctures, put the 4wd on its side or something else like that then that will add time to my trip and I will not be able to make it.
If all goes
well then I'll be there with bells on. I just don't want to inconvenience anyone by saying I will go and then fail to show.
Cheers
Alan

Hi Alan
I would think that most people would give you a warm welcome if you dropped in unannounced.
Where will this years trip take you?
Regards
Dick

Hi Dick,
Thanks for that.
I'll be spending a couple of weeks with some exploroz members in the Gibson, including one with a new shiney ute with a big motor. Then I'm on my own for a while, finding my soul in
the desert until I come to that big green area up north.
Cheers
Alan

Alan,
I very much doubt that you would not be made welcome.
As there is a quite a number of attendees, who I am sure will not not stay for the whole duration. Last year in
St George some only stayed for 1 -2 nights then continued on with their trip.
Cheers Kev
