Hi all
as promissed i send a report in on my trip to the
lakewood woodlines
over
easter entering from eyre hwy 62 klm peg
Towing a 4m off road windsor rapid 18klm into Walagorina
Rock was of no concern a few small trees accross road to clear by hand
Looked like some one has been through a while back with a dozer and cleared
large trees and filled in wash aways
We set up
camp to prepare to explore woodlines from this base
camp
next day
As most would have heard the heavens opened up on Friday night arround
the Goldfields
We received a thunder storms at night which continued next morn much to our
dissapointment due to the treachorous terrain we moved out
Will return another day this is what exploring is all about
regards Garny

Thanks for the
feedback Garny. Sorry rain spoilt your trip. It has rained almost every time we have passed through
Norseman - must be the wettest place in the country!
Better luck next time; at least you were successful getting your van in to your
camp.
