Loz
Hi all
We are looking at purchasing 120w folding
solar panels.
Suntech and Hitech are suppliers, both selling kits for around $1000.
Has anybody any reports on either of these two brands and/or units..thanks Loz

Hi Loz,
I have a couple of 40 watt Suntechs which I made into a folding
panel. Seem pretty tough and work just fine. They are pretty common and have not heard any bad reports.
Can't help with Hitech - sorry.
Cheers
Gerry

We purchased a couple of 80w panels off
Solar Steve and put them on top of the van, they are fantastic, and we found the price was MORE THAN competitive.
Cheers

I have the Suntech 120W and have used it for a 5 week trip up north with no complaints. The legs are a little flimsy but have held up so far.

G'day Loz,last year on a 6 month trip across the northern parts of Aus.we used 2x 120w Suntech folding kits, never had any problems at all.Only other thing we did was to make extra padding out of old doonas to put around them before putting into the canvass carry bags.
