Thanks for all the reply's I received on my query re buying a Isuzu Dmax. Have bit the bullet and purchased one so will post my coments on it when we get back from a trip around Australia. So far I am very impressed with the ecomony of the vehicle. It will be interesting what it will do with a 17ft. caravan on the back.

G'day Turk,
We just got back from a weekend in
Busselton towing a 22ft van around 2 1/2 ton with our d-max.
Went VERY
well, towing was a breeze - plenty of power (we have the auto) and fuel usage averaged out at 14l per 100km's.
Not bad considering it's not fully run in yet so should only get better hopefully.
All the best with your choice, I don't think you will be disappointed.

Look at the DP chip
http://www.dpchip.com/ We have them in both cars Rodeo and Peugeot and they seem to work
well.
