Nik & Dee
Spent the day yesterday there, usual traders etc.as last year !

I needed a new uhf aerial (some nice little moron snapped mine off recently!) priced up at the 2 dealers at the show, one was $160, one was $110 came home and on the net got same one post paid for $92!

I think the traders O/Heads are pretty steep just to be at the show so bargains tend to be a bit in short supply.

My mate with me was going to buy a Yamaha 2.4i genny but his local Ranger camping did a better deal than the Ranger stand at the show ! and they wouldn't budge on their price ! just told him if he could get it cheaper the do so.

Various tables and chairs seemed to be well priced and saw lots of people carrying them out the gates, I actually bought a recliner style one for the wife for $70.

Could not believe the prices of some up market caravans and 5th wheelers, and deals appeared to be being done!

All in all its worth the day out and the weather was perfect yesterday.

Cheers Hazo,

Yeh I think I'll be there Sunday. Don't need anything in particular but worth checking out i Suppose. I've never been to one before. I need a high lift jack and some other bit and pieces and have an idea of price already.

The usual 4WD chains were well represented and had some good deals. Got a helpful reception from all but one. I got good deals on a Bushranger compressor and a Projecta inverter

Hey Nic and Dee

We went on Thursday and lots of good deals to be had.
We got the Honda 20 Gennie with extras for $1800.00.
Opposite lock have a "Projecta" stand inside with good deals on inverters, battery chargers and torches.
Bushranger and ARB are worth looking at for 4wd gear.

Also if your hungry, we ate at the cafe outside Opp Lock and the burgers were great!

Have fun

Lynz

Yes, but $7 for a stubby of Carlton Draught was a bit naughty. Crownies were $8. They did not even have the grace to look embarrassed.
