Alloy CT,
Can't help you with the Senior Citzs Club, but if you enjoyed Len's book there are about six in the series every one of them an excellent read.

Hello Alloy,
That's about the third or fourth book in Len's series. Each are full of great stories!
If you can find a copy grab the CD of his Shepparton talk, an absolute crack up. The man spoke and wrote with exactly the same style!

There's also a DVD. I got
mine from Anne Beadell. If you ask her nicely, she's even autograph it for you.

The complete 'boxed set' of Len's six books is available at the
Woomera info centre for $60.00. I almost picked up a set when we were there last week, but room is very tight in the rig - even one more book is tough.
Woomera of course was Len's stamping ground for many years. Just a quick trip up the road from anywhere to pick up a set!

Hi Alloy, I got the complete set from the
tourist info centre in
Bendigo (where the talking trams take off from) in Nov 08. Cost was just under the $60 mark.
Lent a neighbor one to read and he decided to get the complete set over the internet. Just do a search on Len Beadell.

Thanks for all the replies , was just after if the Tootgarook Senior Citizens Centre Inc was still around , , The copy of the book I picked up at a garage sale in central Qld has their stamp on the fly pages so probably belongs on their shelves , so in the post to Tootgarook it will go.
