Is it possible to take a G6 Ford and Cub Camper on the Indian Pacific. Or is it only camper trailers with soft top.
Thanks
Trev

Wow, Google is great for researching. (Perhaps you should try it too) Found this in 0.15 seconds.
LINK If you don't find the answer you're seeking you can always telephone them or send them an e-mail. The contact details are on their web page.

Wow, that was clever.
Did that, then got in contact, they would call me back? (This was days ago).
Still no return phone call.
Yes can use a computer, only been on them since 1968.
Sometimes people ask a question to get a sensible answer, which is not always the response you get from some phone enquiries or emails.
That is why I value the responses you get from some good sites like this.
Thank you.

Hi Trev,
My friend took her vehicle on it to
Perth 20yrs ago. All of her petrol was drained out.
In more recent yrs. another person had the same happen as
well as some of their belongings. You'd like to think that times have changed but be aware of this and don't have your tank filled to full when it goes over on the train.
Take care Safe travels.
Bye Sally.

Friends had to catch the train in
Adelaide not
Sydney because their ute couldn't get under some low bridges! Height restrictions are going to eliminate a lot of rigs. This is another thing to
check. Lynne

Did the Google, got in contact, someone would ring me back with the info. But did it happen, no.
So thought I might ask others who have done it.
Have heard of other campers than soft tops, just wanted to know if anyone else had gone through it and what their experience was.
Thanks for the tip regards fuel tanks.
Regards

Took our Prado & hard top Swagman across on the Indian Pacific to
Adelaide last March. No worries - walked the 1km back along the train at
Cook (silly thing to do in 44d heat & a duststorm) to
check all OK. There is very specific height restrictions as low
bridge near Midland
Junction just on way out of
Perth. Watched it loaded in about 5 mins at
Perth and off loaded in less than 20 mins at
Adelaide. With a Gold Kangaroo cabin the cost was only about $420. Cheers Heather

John L,
Tnks, that was exactly what I wanted to find out.
On the site they state only soft tops camper trailer and the size trailer they have is only 6 x4 or 7x4, but they have that as (quote 6" x 4" and 7" x 4" unquote), thought after reading that, would have to
check what other people experience was. Sure are small trailers wonder what you would tow them behind.
