Hello
Looking at camping over Aussie day weekend at either
Rapid Bay or
Blow Hole Beach in
Deep Creek Conservation Park. Has anyone been to either recently ??

Deep Creek NP is
the spot. There are several camping areas.
Couple of years since we went, but a great area.
Spend the day at
Blowhole Beach (4x4 access)
Cheers,
Peter

We stayed at Stringybark
camp ground a couple of weeks ago, big sites, shady, flushing tiolets and hot showers, $15pn and a once of $8 entry to park. If you are going there i would in early, 17 sites from memory.
The other
camp grounds are $5 pn plus entry, drop loos.

Hi Krakka,

I went to
Deep Creek at the end of November. Stayed at the
Trig Campground which was a nice place, big sites, clean composting
toilets, around $5/night per site plus park entry (one off, per vehicle). Good access to some bushwalks, including
Deep Creek cove. Heaps of kangaroos!
I didn't try out the 4WD tracks though I understand there are only two of them (
Boat Harbour &
Blowhole beach tracks).
If I was going in summer I'd try to
camp a little closer to
the beach!

You didn't miss much with those tracks Amy. Very nice scenery and view from those tracks, but
Boat Harbour Beach track is easily accessable by car now, in the dry anyway, as with
Blowhole although
Blowhole could be a bit too loose surface for car at times. Great
views though.
