Hi all,
My fridge is about 4 years old and works perfectly on 240 volts.
Unfortunately on 12 volts no lights come on at all.
A couple of years ago I had the thermal fuse replaced and was wondering if there are any other fuses that I could
check.
Before anyone asks there is adequate power to ruin the fridge and it is definately a fault with the fridge.
Thanks in advace Chris.

Chris
Take the ftidge into an authorised Waeco repairer and have it fixed. Some Waecos were fitted with faulty switchboards/whatever and they could fail at any time. Ours went at 14 months but others seem to last longer

Hi Chris,
I replaced the plug supplied by Waeco with a Hella plug and the fridge worked a lot better, but still cuts out at 12.6 volts on Lo setting, but runs like a champion on emergency over ride so there is now plenty of power getting to the fridge, it went down to -9, so it looks like there is something in the battery saver switch.
Hope you don't live in
Brisbane because the authorised repairer is not very helpful.
Regards
Geoff

Hi Geoff - how did you get on with your Waeco? Just as a simple
test (?) did you try run the fridge from the front outlet in your vehicle or even some other vehicle to see how it performs there? May answer some questions if you plug it into an outlet thats closer to the battery. There maybe issues with your cables or outlet, but obviously there could be issues with the fridge. Or make a short lead and plug direct to battery? Cheers Mick

Mine did this while travelling... the technician told me that a wire had broken off the circuit board but who knows... I think you'll need to take it to a repair centre.
