Hi Peter:
I am not familiar with the Jervis Bay area, but there is a book available for sale here in the "Shop" called "Australian Camps" (or similar ) which looks detailed enough to help you out.
If yu wanted to buy that and a map of the area you are visiting, you may have enough to qualify for free
membership as
well. Good deal.

I think there is a
camp ground on the other side of Jervis Bay (north) - not sure if would be free though - this is one of the best spots on the east coast after all !Subaru Forester
size isn't everything !

In at Yawal can you still
camp in this area? It was a good
free camping spot.
Shallow Crossing a bit further south is another good area.

Jervis Bay Camping
Honeymoon Bay
Try the above links.
Although they are not free they are excellent for camping.
Hope this helps

Awesome site but "All Campsites fully booked over October long weekend and Christmas Holiday Period 2003 - 04" - what a bummer!
Handy site for next year though thanks

Check with the
ranger re the
Honeymoon Bay camping area. I know the camping on the south side, which is the Jervis Bay Camping link are fully booked, but the
Honeymoon Bay area might have some room. It is a beautiful spot.
