Hi everyone,

We live on the Gold Coast (Qld) could anyone recommend a good 4wd club. We are fairly casual people and would like to join a club that’s not too formal.

Rachel,

Try Queensland 4WD Association and look down the left hand side for Club List. This will allow you to vet clubs and check websites to start off.

I have no doubt that the clubs recommended here are good, but this will help you check all clubs.

Gold Coast 4WD Club. E-Mail: info@goldcoast4wdclub.org.au.
Based on their magazine this club looks quite good. Can't comment on the others mentioned.

I've been a member of the old Coast 4WD Club for a few years. Less active these days due to our travels. Great club. Has it's own driver training track and runs a full day Driver Awareness Program for new members.

Lots of trips for all levels of vehicle and experience and plenty of social gatherings.

Monthly meeting details are on the web site.
