Just back from 10 days on the not so sunny
gold coast.We did manage to get in a couple of days sun shine but we also got rain, wind, rain........
It was actually pretty good to see, not every one gets to see the
Gold Coast in flood and storm.
We went and had a look at the main beach Sunday afternoon and there was a
cliff about 2mts heigh right along the main beach where the rough surf had washed it away, not something you see every day.
So we are now back in Tassie(and its raining here now) with 11 days to go before we head off for three months touring, hope the rain stays away from us while camping.

Gold Coast in flood and storm" ...nor does everyone wish to see it; especially if they live here :))))
Hope you enjoyed the experience. I can still remember driving the North Coast up to Hervey Bay in 1974. Now THAT was a wet year !
