The word is there are batches of bfg A/Ts that differ in construction & durability. Is it that some are sourced from the US & others from Asia? Is there any indication on the sidewall as to wot are the better ones??
Maybe some of the rubber experts out there might know this one.
ThanxA bad days sailing sure beats a good day at work

David
The country of origin is on the sidewall of the tyre.
From reading some posts on this site it appears that the USA tyres are better than the Japanese sourced tyres although I am not sure in what way.
I have a set of USA souced BFG's (31 10.5R15) on my Hilux and a friend has a set of Japan sourced BFG's(265 75 16). Neither of us has had any problems after about 10000 k's each.
