I am currently running an ad for an off road caravan in this section and have had an enquiry from South Africa!!!!. The bloke intends to move to Oz this year.
Did someone once say "Its a small world".
Sadly I dont intend to reply for fear of the unknown. But if the enquirer is reading this all I can say is "ET" come
home and I will talk to you.
Regards

MH,
I was cautious with a US buyer to a small 4wd I had for sale on here a while back. Turned out genuine, I got my money and he then had to pay the purchase price for the car in freight to get it to the US. I was dumbfounded and very sceptical, right to the end but you never can tell can you, he was a collector that just wanted my vehicle. It worked out fine for me.........this time hehehe.
Cheers, Trevor.

I got a reply for an ad from France recently.
I posted a
pic of a roof top camper fitted to my 75 series landcruiser.
They thought they could have the whole lot for $500 LOL
I did make it clear it was for the camper only

I got one a while back from France as
well.
After I gave him a guesstimate of the freight he lost interest.

I believe this is probably a scam. After advertising my vehicle on another site I got several replies from England - all from the same or similiar sounding person. The email was word for word including spelling mistakes. When I replied that I would accept a substantial deposit via pay pal, the emails stopped. Best to avoid these emails I think....

I sold my Troopy thru here...to a guy in Germany.
Everything went OK.. paid a deposit (which cleared all good)..landed here with a ' bank' cheque in Euros...took him down to my bank and cleared with no probs...
Gotta admit I was a bit sceptical for starters, but after a few email exchanges and phone calls, it was all legit.
