Anywhere.....
When we went through a few years ago, when it came time to camp we just pulled off in a clump of tree's and had a great first night camp out. There's a pic in my profile of the kids around the fire.

M&R,

Pretty much anywhere along that road you should get away with pulling over and making camp provided it is only an overnighter.

Generally there are more trees closer to Ivanhoe and I would think the camping would be better at that end but I have never considered camping along there so I have not paid much atttention.

Keep an eye on the railway line as you don't want to be too close to that, there are plenty of trains overnight and they are not quiet.

There is good camping along the river at Menindee and depending on where you are coming from there are some nice spots before you get to Ivanhoe, particularly when coming from the east.

If you let me know where you are coming from I may be able to help you with travel times and possible camps before you get to Ivanhoe that may be more suitable.
