Hi to all, just came back from picking up our new "Carry Me" camper from Phil and Sandi (Candy Campers) at the Rosehill camping show. I am so happy with the finished product, it looks awesome sitting on the 79 series. We were very impressed with the friendly service and personal training received from both Sandi and Phil, I for one couldn't be happier. If anyone is thinking of purchasing one of these fantastic campers, I would definitely recommend you spend some time with Phil and Sandi. We have travelled many a road and met 100's of people, and Phil and Sandi are up there with the "best".
Well done guy's for putting together a very Professional business and still keeping the "how ya going Mate" attitude.
Cheers: one very satisfied customer

We've had ours for nearly three years and it gets a fair amount of use and abuse. Sandy and Phil have become quite good friends, are always looking to improve their product (they like
feedback both pos and neg), and are always willing to go that little bit further to help out eg: having a job done on a Public Holiday.
Cheers,

I was at Rosehill as
well and did like the Carry Me Camper. I think it's one of the best tray-back options on the market... until I saw the price. I think it was in the vicinity of $43k with the full setup.
Having a look at their website, the base price is $12500, but you could easily add another $20k of accessories - kitchen etc.
Dayyum, that's a lot of coin for something smaller then a CT.

Ther is no way that a Carry Me Camper would cost 43k...perhaps a mistake?

Yes I think it was a mistake, maybe on my part after looking at the caravans/CTs. I think I feinted one too many times after seeing their prices.
Still, doesn't $12.5k seems a lot for a box on the back of a tray?

My Active Camper - Tray Top might look like a "box on the back of a tray" at first sight Ben, but I can assure you there is $24K worth of value packed into this little box with plenty of
home comforts and I can launch my boat while leaving it on the tray so rarely have to use the jacks.

ben-gv3 when I first went looking for someting on the back of my tray I got a quote for a non-removable aluminium 'box' and nothing else and it came to the same price as the Carry Me - the Carry Me came WITH tent, awnings, mattress, jacks, poles, etc., so no mate, the price of the Carry Me is
well and truly reasonable. However, prices have risen since, but
mine came in
well under $9k (and
mine is 4" wider than standard), and I would still buy another today if I was in the market.

Your right Craig, Rosco Trade body $10K base price. Carry Me Camper $11,700 base price. Pound for pound there is much more value in the Carry Me Camper.
PS haven't got one but I wish I did!!

But don't you think $10k for a aluminium/steel box is just ridiculous? The labour costs can't be that high.

Hi Ben, Yes that price seems ridiculous but they(Rosco) sell them. If you look at some of the more upmarket camper trailers, it is also difficult to see why they charge so much.

Gday there , Yeah you can add me to the very satisfied customer list allso , i got my carry me camper last year and very happy with it, all the staff were excelent to deal with they oganized to have it sent from their south australia to
cairns i drove from
weipa to pick it up.
I allso have it on my 79 series i optioned it with the full electrical pack and
water tank , i like how its very easy to use set up and pack away, i allso thought it was great value for money considering the tent and other stuff you get with it.
The only thing i did do was upgrade the little D-shackles that came with it to proper rated shackles as the little ones buckled and stretched, other then that no dust in it, very happy camper!
