I must say I do like the new way that Members Rig Pictures are displayed when you click on the photo.
Looks real good, I'm guessing its a new Flash Feature??
Will the other photos posted within the thread and in the Members gallery be displayed the same way eventually??
Well done David.

Yeah seems to have settled down now and works
well.
Was a bit funny, worked then it didn't type thing, I guess David is in the process of setting it up.
Would be nice to see it run all photos on the site, either posted to the thread or in the Members galleries etc.

Looks good, now all we need is a "Forward" & "Back" feature that can allow us to scroll thru pictures without closing them off, then clicking on the next picture. Does that make sense?
Cheers, Brad

Brad,
That feature is already part of the new feature however I have only enabled it in the
blogs system as yet. If you
check out Michelle's latest Blog you will be able to scroll through the 32 images without closing - just move the mouse over the LHS or RHS of the image in view and click it will move onto the next or previous dependant on which side of the image you click on. I will work out how the extend this into the rest of the system today/tomorrow.
Enjoy.

John,
Good pick up - the hit and miss at this stage is dependant on the Ad's being loaded - that is the new control must wait to till the page is fully loaded to trigger so the ad's and all other content must be loaded before the function will operate correctly. You should not see a problem most of the time however I am working to get around this problem also.
Thanks for noticing and yes it will be installed on every photo that has a click to enlarge and
all articles,
places and
treks etc. have already been migrated.

Good one.
Another suggestion, When you click on the Rig
Pic for someone can it be set up to scroll through all the relevant Rig Photos in the respective Members profile so you don't have to go into their profile to see them??
Is it a Flash based program?

It is not flash - it is just plain old DHTML and javascript.
Yes it could do that however I would lose a PV (Page View) and it would increase the loading of the pages as I would have to deliver all rig & gallery images to the page for every member that is involved in the thread - this would increase the byte size of the pages significantly so at this stage I will not install this - however I could see an ability to AJAX load the images for the member once you open up the rig
pic - this is more development than I have ability to get done right now however it is a planted seed.
Enjoy David
