If you want to program a freq(say 3456.7) into , say channel 11 this is what you do.
CH 11 CH,
PROG, 3456.7 (receive freq) PROG
It will ask (trans freq),press PROG ,again

Thats it.
I don't what freq you want, ive used random numbers here, just for demo.

Shane,

It would be unusual for the set to allow programming of transmit frequencies from the front panel. I'm not suggesting you're wrong on this as I gather you have one, but they wouldn't all have this facility unless enabled in the initial programming.

Cheers,

You are proberbly right.
I'm FAR from an expert in this feild, in fact before I answered I went and checked on mine (barret 250) to make sure I had it right
I have programmed a few freq. but only to RX never tried TX, so come to think if it, I don't really know the outcome.
But the programming process does prompt you to program a RX freq. as well as a TX freq. as I outlined, again, I've never tried it, I just assumed thats all you had to do (apart from aerial taps)

You will also need to have an aerial with the correct freq wound onto it, or an auto tune, if that radio will support it. Mobile 9021.
