I actually find that reply stupid and offensive.

How you expected a 2 word post to be understood by anyone I have no idea.

I hope you get the information you seek, but next time a little more info might help.

I don't think anyone is trying to be offensive Mary, - well, maybe Cruiser is having a bit of a go (lol) - we just do not know what you mean.

When you say "I made a trader inquiry about the above trader....", I don't know to whom you are referring.

I've had a look in the Trader section but cannot see anyone who is selling auxiliary tanks; nor do I recall seeing a banner ad relating to auxiliary tanks. I must confess that I have some advertisements switched off so I may have missed it.

I did not intend to enter a post .Simply did a search in the trader area with the words Auxiliary tank to try and find said banner adveritser. how it became a post I don't know Thus my annoyance at the replies.Cheers,Mary

Hi Mary

I was also totally at a loss to what your post meant. If you post in error, it is easy to contact the team through Contact Us button and explain and ask them to delete it. If the post goes up before you intended and is incomplete, just add what you intended to say as a correction in a follow up to your own question. Although you get the odd joker here, most of the replies to genuine enquiries are very helpful and useful. Perhaps it is just a matter of the old adage; to get the right answer, first ask the right question. I believe you have done the right thing in coming back to discuss this and clear the air.

Mary I see from your Profile you are a member of LROC in Vic.
They are a very large and excellent club.

Can I suggest that an inquiry through the clubs magazine or web site/forum may also be a good way to find out what your fellow Landrover owners recommend in so far as Long range tanks?

Don't be fussed by the replies on here, its all a bit of fun and lots of good people and good info here also.

Ok all I hope the dust has settled.I guess we are all a little hair triggered at times.
Found the answer .The add was for a vehicle conversion site called exploz.com.au
They have done a very good pop top for a Landrover,saw it at Cooma .Also make 50l auxillary fuel tanks and that was what I was seeking.
The name they have chosen made the whole exercise even more confusing as the banner add was on this site.
Might be of interest to landy owners.
