Some fairly big tides for fraser next week but the trip up next friday looks good . Low tide at midday is perfect . Leave brissy at around 8am . Going
home on monday could be tricky though with a really high tide at around 8am . It is a shame that i cannot drive on
the beach all the way from
tewantin to
rainbow because of the trees on
the beach . Dont want to risk it . That used to be a great trip . Beach driving from noosa to cathedral beach . I guess it will be the boring trip to gympie . cheers .

The freshwater track wasn't in that bad a condition over Xmas. Certainly a lot better than I have seen it in previous years & the track seems to be getting wider for easy passing in both directions.

I was up there last week for the Fraser Is cleanup.
The beach was drivable even at high tide.
We had to get on
the beach at 1030am last monday, that was about 4 hrs before low tide, had no trouble even with a camper trailer in tow.
Neither of the 2 sets of rocks are passable at low tide you will need to take the bypass's.
Take plenty of insect repellant, the flies are really bad ATM.
Enjoy the trip
Cheers
Pete
