Cheers.

Thanks Waynepd. I'm in Melb but I'll keep the NSW frequencies in my 4WD so when I'm in NSW I can tune in. Cheers.

If you give your location you'll have a better chance of getting the info. My GME TX4400 came with Channels 41-60 tuned to the Melbourne frequencies and it also gets, as a sample, a bus service in Tamworth, Taxis in Armidale and Police in Bega - so there are many possibilities! I just scan as I travel and have 40 as the priority channel.

All Police are going digital on their frequencies and those that aren't now they will soon be. Therefore unless you have the digtal code etc you wont be able to listen in. I know because I work in the same field - different uniform.

Most of sydney is still on the analogue system around 468.5Mhz, I think the inner city may be digital, but as said once they go digital that's it no more listening.

In the Sydney area,
Channel "G" Bankstown Flemington and Channel "H" Holroyd, Rose Hill are Digital, not sure what other channels have gone digital. I once worked as a civvie in police radio.
