I get about 100 a day. Does anyone actually read the crud? I delete so fast, that sometimes I delete an important one and have to dig it back out!
My biggest discomfort is that my family sees some of the most disgusting stuff. Luckily they're adult now.
I wonder if it will ever die down. Royce www.funshow.com.au

remove your email addy as a link from your site.
just have the address so people have to type it in, or use that script Roger has on that page.
Other option is from matts script archives, search for it, that is the '
HOME' of scripts..
Will it die, Not a chance in hell, remember the link to the 1 (of many) wanks that spawn out 2 million junk mails an HOUR?? Big $$ in it.

Never received any but there was an interesting discussion on Tues night ABC National I think and the figures were 20 billion emails a day and half of that is spam. Basically never open it.

www.mailwasher.net
Get the free program. I run 18 websites now and shot spam down from 300+ a day to a trickle. All my email addys were harvested from the network of sites we run.
Basically it checks your email before downloading messages and any spam mongers you can bounce after previewing the suspects...do that a few times and they WILL leave you alone.
This is one hell of a proggie and will serve you
well. No catches etc...just a gem.

I just downloaded the Mcafee one and a crack for it, it looks the goods, and has LOTS of good writeups.
Again, wouldnt pay for it (Does anyone pay for Software anymore?? WHY WOULD YOU!) but it has lots of settings.

I paid for OziExplorer which is a magic bit of kit. Developed in Oz etc So some software is worth paying for. I agree that I hate being ripped off by Bill Gates every time I buy a new computer which already have his viruses preloaded.
