Does anyone know when this is coming back on?

The website has been saying season 2 on air soon for ages.

I have sent an email but never got a reply,

Rob

G'day Rob,

I too have had no reply.

Downloading it seems to be the best way, but this is about 7 shows behind.

Regards,

Brett....

"Downloading it seems to be the best way, but this is about 7 shows behind. "

And where might you download it from?
You wouldn't have a link, would you?
I googled it and came up empty.

Hi Lionel

Its a really good show , about common sense driving around tracks in Victoria with plenty of film of just driving as opposed to 4wd competition etc.

Perhaps the next series will expand its coverage , but my guess is that as it doesn't go in for sensational type stuff then tv stations may see its market as limited.

Lionel,

Series 1 was on Channel 31, Melbourne and Geelong only. The Producer's plan is to go National but this is dependant upon a National Sponsor.

Cheers,

Jim.

Speaking of 4wd TV shows, does anyone bother with Pat Callinan's (ex 4WD Monthly ed.) new show on Sat at noon. TEN has been moving it around a bit (and even not showing it) depending on what else is on.

when the golf is finished i guess is when they'll show it next.
how do the geniuses who program shows there expect it to build a following when they show a 3 part series of shows based around cape york, but it takes 5 or six weeks to watch it cause it gets aired so sporadically.

If the show is on Access TV we lost the channel earlier this year as they couldn't afford to go digital. Hopefully SBS or the ABC may buy it.

Well the presenter sits behind a desk at Fourby's tire place at Moorooka so anyone in brissie could go ask him. I felt like there was a camera somewhere when he gave me his opinion on wheel and tyre combinations as we walked around my lux.

You sure we're talking about the same bloke?

The presenter of this show is Ian Johnston. Unless he's moved in the last three weeks he is based in Melbourne.

Cheers,

Jim.

Hey Porl, are you talking about the 4WD TV show presenter? Don't think he works for Fourbys - have never seen him there and he's not listed on their site. I think that guy comes from Melbourne. Or is there yet another 4WD show?

Happy New Year Rob, Jim & Everyone else.

Rob are you sure you sent an email to Going 4WD or the other show with the bald host 4wdtv?

I know I've had computer probs with viruses recently but I haven't had any emails from you.

Going 4WD is due back on air in March 09. Why? Being a brand new show we found it very hard to secure sponsors however thanks to Jim and the viewers, Going 4WD has become the number 1 rating 4x4 show in Melbourne. That has now made it a little easier to obtain sponsors which we are currently in the middle of securing.

Going 4WD is due to air in Adelaide, Brisbane & Melbourne on Sunday Nights with Sydney airing on Tuesday nights. Confirmation of air times etc. will be on the Going 4WD web site soon.

Emails sent to Going 4WD are answered by me personally and we will be tripping around from state to state and will be calling on forum members to come on trips with us from time to time.

Have a great week. Catch you on the tracks.

Ian,

You should have a chat to EO management and see what advertising they could do for you.

What are your filming plans for late September??

We have a Gathering in St George QLD if your interested in tagging along.

Cheers Kev
