Maybe a bit more respect by the people using the area would require less maintenance by the authorities! Whatever happened to the idea of taking out everything you take in?

The campground at Bungleboori is usually overflowing on weekends with trail bikers and mostly they are rubbish humans with little regard for anyone else.
The carpark at the tunnels can get very busy quickly in the warmer months.

There is a canyon walk that most don't see. At the end of the first tunnel you walk thru, turn left and follow the creek around thru the canyon. Worth the walk. It will lead to the track you walked in on before the tunnel.

If you bring it in -- take it out *SIMPLE* ---- Buy a large rubbish bag from Claus - there cheap as , go on your spare tyre on the back of your car ( or in your roof rack/cage )

why should someone else be responsible for your rubbish removal ( aimed at all campers not just you ) and do as i do - if you have spare room in your bag when you go home ... FILL IT WITH OTHER PEOPLES CRAP ALSO ...... One trip to Stockton netted me 58 + glass bottles within my area of camping ...

Leave a camp site CLEANER than you found it ... you will feel all warm an fuzzy inside knowing you have helped to preserve an area , rather than just whinge about it not to return .....

and before you ask -- YES i bring my own toilet and i do not condone digging a hole and burying your human waste, my kids like to play behind trees and sick of seeing other people "crap" everywhere - IT SHOULD BE STANDARD PRACTICE / Compulsory that campers have there own portapoti - there cheap as chips ( $100 off fleabay) so there is NO excuse ... you can afford the car - trailer - rego , fuel - NO EXCUSE - I dont take a dump in your back yard , so why would you in OURS ????

No what im saying is if there is a facility for disposing of waste at a camp site provided, how is using it different from taking it home and putting it in your own bin. If I camp somewere that doesnt have these facilities which I do often then I will take my rubbish home with me(not bush rock!!!!!!)but if there is a facility provided then I will use it. And as I always do the right things such as pay my camp fees (part of which go to maintaining these facilities I would expect that they are maintained regularly. So too suggest that using them instead of taking my rubish home is not doing the right thing by the enviroment is just plain narrow mindedness.
