Im about to purchase an Oztent and was wondering if the width of roof racks on a duel cab will support enough of the Tent to not damage it.
Or do I have to look at one of the blackwolf tents instead that can be stored easier.
Also if anyone is aware of
places that currently have them on sale that would be great.

There's a guy in
Ballina that shifts a few Oztents on eBay and sends them freight-free...
Have a look here

I assume you're referring to the thickness of the cross bars...
I carry
mine on my Rhino bars with no problems whatsoever.

The max distance you get between the bars on a dual cab will be sufficient to support the oztent. I'm thinking about getting a pod to carry
mine in as the bag is starting to show a few signs of wear (
mine 8 years old) and a replacement bag of good quality is likely to be 2/3rds the price of the pod.

Any standard rack should support the Oztent Mick.
The length of the tent packed is about two metres so any rack spacing less than that would be OK. We mount ours to the side of a basket with the cross racks giving support to the tent.
We have an RV3 which weights 18kg.
The RV4 weighs 19kg and the RV5 22kg.
Bill.
