I suspect in reality you would need solar or other charging if you expect 3-4 days out of one battery.

Hi Peter
As Andrew has mentioned you may need charge the battery sooner then day 4.
I would estimate the that the Waeco + Pump + Light would use about 50 a/h per day. The FLYER will hold a 120 a/h AGM so just over 2 days without recharging.
Remember that the AGM will absorb power very fast and simply run the car for an hour a day and you can extend your trip to around 8 days without the need of a solar panel or mains charger.
When you get
home make sure to cycle the AGM and get it back up to full charge.
Regards
Derek.

Just thought I would mention that the FLYER mounting trays will be here soon. These will be in 2 parts so you can mount the FLYER flat or over the wheel arch or draw bar.

I peer into my crystal ball and I see that Derek is going to cop some stick over that statement LOL.

Derek,
thanks for that, i didn't word it very good but i didn't mean to get 3-4 days without charging but all has been very helpful.2 days sounds much better than 1 that i thought and is why i mentioned the solar. your way sounds a much cheaper way to go to start off with. now all i have to do is explain the $900 on the credit card that is going to appear next month to the hand brake.
which re minds me dose anyone know how i can adjust my had brake so my credit limit is a bit higher.
cheers Peter
