crossing the nullarbor

G'day all, will be traveling from singleton to kalgoorlie over christmas. planned route is out through broken hill and down to SA on to the nullarbor. Any hints for the trip,places to stay e.t.c would be a big help

ryno, will you be able to independent camp or do you need accommodation? Most of the servos across the Nullabor have some form of accommodation, from motel type rooms to camping grounds. If independent - its a wide open place with many good spots to pull over and stay.

What a contrast! It was really quite hot for us today, whereas my daughter said yesterday "You wanted rain, you got rain". She is at home managing lambing in freezing wet weather.

I did it a few years ago and my comment is not what to see but take some Story book CDs with you they help when doing the long distances.

We just stopped at garages as said above. You keep running in to the same people which is generally good.

If going a bit North of Kalgoorlie also see the sculptures near Menzies
