I recently bought a 2003 NP pajero exceed which has a towbar. Problem is I can't see anything on it to say what the towbar weight rating is.. I'm hoping it's at least a 1600kg.
Does anyone know iwhat these came out with , or how can I tell ?
Thxs

If it is a genuine bar it will have a label on it. Yours doesn't so it's not a genuine.
Normally the ones with the 50mm square hitch receiver tube are rated at 2500KG. If it only has a flat bolt on tongue it's rated at 1200KG.

Also look on the drivers side B pillar there may
well be a tow bar rating label stuck on around that area.
