Greetings all, (esp the national gathering folk)

The horseshoes have finally arrived - was going to paint 1 set maroon and the other blue but that may have caused interstate rivalry haha. I have the "offical" rules taken from the US web page but they run to 37 pages so have also downloaded the backyard version. I'll get the pegs done later this afternoon - bit of reo rod welded into 1' waterpipe. Looking for ideas for prizes for this game folks - remember that I'm bringing 12 bottles of red but NO (repeat) NO you cannot have it all at once - you must earn a bottle. I think we could (read MUST) have heats and semi's and then Grand Final etc for big kids and smaller kids so someone who is bringing tackers might have some ideas for prizes. Please bear in mind that these are shoes for a VERY BIG horse - weight about 2lb each so get the weights out

I also mentioned weeks ago about a casting competition - you know the sort - trying to hit a target with a weight on the end of fishing line. I have the targets - (47c No Mess dog bowls that will be donated after the event) so if you are interested bring a rod and reel - I'll chase up some casting plugs - this even may well be a forerunner to the fishing comp - having ideas for that too - biggest yabby, biggest yellowbelly, secret weight, biggest yarn (to be told around the campfire after consuming some adult drinks) and so on. Any other ideas welcome.

Noticed last night when driving home after work that the headlights dimmed and then receovered - thought that's niot good - result was going to my auto sparky this morning - aux battery shot - and crank only about 60% - so the mighty Nissan now has 2 new batteries so now I know I won't have any hassles whilst out and about.

Cheers

John,

I saw an email the other day that had toilet seats as horse shoes LOL
They were large and light weight.

Cheers Kev

Kiwi,

It is easier for a woman to put the seat down than it is for a bloke to put it up ;)

John,

Work is a 4 letter word ha ha ha

Kev, told my missus that and she said that if I didn't leave it up...she wouldn't need to put it down! There's female logic at work there somewhere LOL

Thank you John, for putting in the effort to get some games happening out at Innaminka, it seems to me you lot are (Kev, Kiwi and John) going to a lot of trouble for the enjoyment of many. I hope it is appreciated by all as much it is by me.

Hope to see you all out there.
Regards, Trevor.

The Qld Flag of mine, that Roachie has, would be fought after very hard if it were to be a prize hehehehe. Even to the point of cash incentives to competitors if they lose against me LOL!!!

Cheers, Trevor.

Trevor,

You have just upped the stakes as money cant buy such a worthy prize as a Qld flag ha ha
