i am looking for gas struts for the bonnet on my 2006 NM Pajero 4wd as i have only one arm working and i am sick of losing lumps of hair trying to hold the bonnet open with my head whilst jamming a stick underneath to hold it up. would appreciate details as to where i caould have them supplied and fitted. rgds Ed.

If it's just a matter of regassing then have a look in the yellow pages a bloke did
mine in my Patrol for $75 for both in
Brisbane

They dont have them standard.It comes standard with a steel rod like the old days.I know cos I have one.

I got onto this bloke in
Melbourne a while back when I needed struts for my poptop c/van, great service & about half the price of local here,(
Bendigo), he will re-gas your present ones or sell new.
His name is Grant T......
I don`t know if it will help, but you can say a bloke from Huntly gave you this info.
I have no affiliation at all ,just a very satisfied customer.

You can go the cheap and easy way and just bend the rod slightly when the ram is fully extended.
